Laughed The Boy

Enter the pastel dream pop world of Laughed the Boy with latest single ‘Post Card’.

The latest single from Canadian outfit Laughed the Boy is a blend of the cheerful and the melancholic. The instrumentation of this track is held together by the guitars that are just the right amount of sparkling clean and simplistically intricut, acting as the glue between introspective narrative and an unshaken driving rhythm section. Having taken on more of a sound in the vein of bands like Real Estate and Swimming Tapes, the band show a great level of development from their earlier releases. If this is any indication of the quality of future releases, we at Chalkpit can't wait to see what's in store for Laughed the Boy.
