Hollow Graves

“executed with new-wave sensibility laid over a sublime moody rhythm section that scratches an itch to any fan of modern moody dream pop and shoegaze from the likes of Beach Fossils and Nothing to the atmosphere of Joy Division.“

Hollow Graves drop effortlessly dark and dreamy powerhouse, ‘Borderline’.

Toronto Indie ensemble Hollow Graves offer the same blend of fantastically produced and hand crafted indie with ‘Borderline’, taken from their latest album ‘Mid-Century Modern’. The band are inspired by the second British invasion and hail from punk backgrounds which culminates in a gritty and expressive sound that somehow stays clean but is always ready to explode. The vocal and guitar hooks are teeming with texture and introspection, executed with new-wave sensibility laid over a sublime moody rhythm section that scratches an itch to any fan of modern moody dream pop and shoegaze from the likes of Beach Fossils and Nothing to the atmosphere of Joy Division.

‘Borderline’ is a diamond in the brilliant sonic sounds of the bands latest full length release, Mid-Century Modern.
