Intricate acoustic introspection with “Flowers” by Neev.

With a unique acoustic style, Glasgow born Neev pens down to earth acoustic jaunts with incredible songwriting prowess and commitment to grabbing your attention. In a sea of self proclaimed acoustic singer songwriters, Neev sets herself apart with her remarkable knack for discovering beauty in the small details. Neev’s latest EP ‘Currents’ was released via Trapped Animal in November 2021. In Neev’s words, “Flowers was originally written and performed on the fly / one take - pop here's a song, done.” And it's easy to see, acting like a train of thought unfolding before your ears - it's incredibly engaging and natural. With tracks from the ‘Currents’ EP being played on BBC introducing Scotland, BBC 6 music and BBC Radio 1 2022 seem a promising year for Neev.

“Flowers” is a unique diary entry reinventing the ‘acoustic singer songwriter’ label.
