Nakamarra Release their 3rd single 'Hide'
‘Hide’ presents a new avenue for their music, a dreamy but illuminating track with a biting grip of indie-rock tones. Referencing of bands such as Beach House and Tame Impala, Nakamarra included an array of 80’s styled synths and a gentler more direct vocal performance than previous releases.
The song’s meaning is simple but touching. It illustrates an ever-changing love story that is told in parallel with Charlie’s intimate lyrics and the rich instrumental of driving bass melodies and elative guitar lines. Recorded at Isle of Wight studio Red Squirrel, the track is coloured with analogue tones, and delicate production that can be found on records by other bands such as The Bees and Fenne Lily.
