“Hustriss plans to release several singles this year, and if this song shows us anything it is that he should be on your radar.”

Dave Huntriss is a Bristol-based musician who has been making and releasing music since he was a teenager, saying he has been “writing and recording alone in various bedrooms” for several years. He is known in his local area for performing with artists such as Nicholson Heal, Kate Stapley and Hailaker, and releases this single four years after his debut solo album ‘[Re]collection’ which came out in May 2017. Huntriss also lists some of his influences as Bon Iver and Phoebe Bridgers, both of which can be instantly recognised in his newest song ‘Dreams About Rooms’.

‘Dreams About Rooms’ is a dreamy track that features fuzzy guitar, powerful drums and warming synths tones and what he calls experimental production, the elements all come together to form a song that holds the beauty of shoegaze music. Hustriss’ vocals are soft and pull the song together with a strong rhythm style and melodic and harmonious delivery. Hustriss plans to release several singles this year, and if this song shows us anything it is that he should be on your radar.
